Hello, I'm Aaron, a former industrial designer now working as a product designer in Toronto
My most recent work stint was with AON3D, where I designed for some of its core offerings like machine status, care support, and analytics for large-scale projects with a global reach. This helped integrate all their 3D printing management needs under one roof. Having led the design team in this young, rapidly growing startup environment - taught me how to balance business goals and engineering constraints as I unrelentingly advocated for the user.
I graduated from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver with a degree in Industrial Design. I loved the human-centered design methods and processes I learned in school and applied them to my projects.
Since I was young, I have traveled to many places, including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the United States, Canada, and Taiwan. This extensive travel experience has taught me to quickly adapt to new challenges. With my diverse upbringing, I embrace all cultures and strive to incorporate this diversity into my designs.
I design furniture as a hobby. This allows me to enhance my creativity and refine my detailing and design skills from a fresh perspective. It also gives me the freedom to explore new ideas and gain valuable experience.
